Not allowed:
- Prohibited items include drones of any size, sunscreen spray, selfie sticks, luggage/suitcases, camera tripods, paper, and pens
- Traditional Chinese costumes such as Tangzhuang or Hanfu are not permitted entry into Tiananmen Square
- If you are using a journalist visa or diplomatic passport you can not book this service
Know in advance:
- To ensure a smooth registration process, please provide the local operator with the following information, for each participant, via email at least one day in advance: passport number, full name, nationality, gender, age
- There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. During peak times or seasons, the wait time for security checks can be lengthy
- Tiananmen Square is not just a tourist attraction; it may be closed by the government at any time without advance notice to the public. If the square is closed, the local operator will offer a full refund
