What To Expect

Huskies are one of the most loved animals of the north, and you will understand why when you meet the pack at Apukka. You can pet them, pose on photos with them and listen to stories about the lives of the huskies. They absolutely love pulling loads and running on the trail across the forests.

The highlight of the day is the 7–10 km long safari, where you get to be the musher yourself, in other words control the pack of huskies towing the sled.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Children under 14 yrs sitting together with adult.

Meeting Point

If you arrive by your own car or other transportation, please arrive straight to Apukka Resort. There is free parking in resorts' area. Please arrive 20 minutes before activity departure time.
We offer two pick-up points:
Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 32, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time.
Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75, pickup time 35 min before activity starting time.
