What To Expect
Following a peaceful pace our reindeer will lead you to a charming Lappish hut in the wilderness. Enjoy hot drinks and a light snack while our friendly reindeer rest for a bit before taking you back. You will return from this trip knowing a lot more than before about the life of the reindeer and the reindeer herders in Finnish Lapland.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels

Hot drink. Transfers (if needed, from Rovaniemi city center or Santa Claus Village to Apukka Resort and back). Winter clothing (thermal overall, thermal boots, woolen socks, mittens, balaclava). Guiding & stories of reindeer husbandry. Reindeer sleigh ride 2-3 km

Meeting Point
If you arrive by your own car or other transportation, please arrive straight to Apukka
Resort. There is free parking in Resorts' area. Please arrive 20 minutes before activity
departure time.
Please arrive on time at the meeting point. The bus will leave exactly on the given time. If you miss the pick up time we will not refund the excursion.
The pick-up time from Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 32): 50 minutes before safari starting time.
The pick-up from Santa Claus Village (bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road) 35 minutes before safari starting time.
