What To Expect

Embark on a 2-day Monasteries tour exploring Greece’s spiritual heritage. On the first day, visit the Corinth Canal before heading to Moni Timiou Prodromou, a stunning cliffside monastery. Continue to Moni Philosophou, one of Greece’s oldest monasteries, and the Krifo Scholio, a hidden school from Ottoman rule. Enjoy free time and an overnight stay in Dimitsana, a picturesque mountain village. On the second day, visit Moni Aimyalon, a peaceful monastery in a lush gorge. Explore the traditional village of Stemnitsa, known for its rich history and charm. End with a visit to the miraculous church of Saint Theodora of Vasta, where trees grow from its roof. Enjoy a meal before returning to Athens.

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Specialized infant seats are available. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You must be able to walk on unpaved or uneven terrain; otherwise the driver will do their best for you to see most of the sites.
