Fetaverse is more than a cooking class. It’s a flavourful celebration of memory, place, and what it means to truly share food!
Curated by a food heritage researcher, this experience blends deep historical insight, traditional cooking, and shared discovery around the table.
We begin with a fun blind tasting (can you tell feta from white cheese?) and dive into its fascinating past — from the Cyclops Polyphemus in Homer’s Odyssey to today’s Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. As we cook tyrokafteri, spinach pies, and Greek salad, we explore the cultural and environmental history of feta through short videos, music, and oral histories from Greek farmers and cheesemakers.
The experience ends with a shared meal, where we enjoy what we’ve prepared — paired with local wine & beer, homemade moussaka or giant beans, and a table full of stories, laughter, and connection!
