What To Expect
You will learn about India’s rich history with a visit to three unique museums on this tour in New Delhi: The National Museum, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum and the National Gandhi Museum. The National Museum has art objects of historical, cultural and artistic significance. The Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum is a tribute to the first female prime minister of India. The museum is housed in her former residence where she was assassinated in 1984. The National Gandhi Museum has a rich collection of memorabilia about Mahatma Gandhi and the Indian Freedom Struggle. After touring the museums, you will have High Tea at the Atrium Restaurant in the Imperial Hotel.
