What To Expect
Visit Kanheri Caves situated in the midst of the forests of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and discover the remains of an ancient Buddhist settlement dating back to the 3rd century A.D. The caves contain Buddhist sculptures, paintings and inscriptions from the 1st century B.C. to the 10th century A.D. The caves are located at an hour’s drive from Mumbai.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers.
