Due to increased security measures, some lines may form at the entrance to the Duomo. In addition, there are strict rules for entering the church. Items that could be considered a security threat will not be permitted
A dress code is required to enter places of worship. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. Suitable disposable kimonos can be purchased at Ticket Office 1 in the Sala delle Colonne
The monumental complex might close the lift used to descend for security reasons; in this event, the descent will be done via stairs
There are up to 50 steps on the way up or down, so comfortable shoes are recommended
The lift has a max capacity of 7 people, so there may be a line to go up to the roof
