Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Please note that access to the Terraces requires climbing 150 steps (no lift) through narrow passages. The height of the Terraces is 30 meters (98 feet).. Sandals, shoes with heels and flip-flops, slippers, and clogs, as well as shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.. Children under the age of 7 are not allowed on the Duomo Terraces for safety reasons. Youth ages 7-18 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.. The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.. Please note that backpacks of any size, as well as luggage or large bags, are not allowed.. Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.. It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.. Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart conditions, dizziness, or claustrophobia, as well as individuals with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.
