What To Expect
Get a crash course in Florence with a local host to get you comfortable in Italy’s sun-soaked Cradle of the Renaissance. See six of Florence’s most exciting central areas, and landmarks like Florence Cathedral, Piazza Santa Felicità, and Via dei Girolami – a vaulted medieval road. Learn stories about the city’s history, like Via dei Calzaioli, the shoemaker’s street where the painter Bronzino got headaches from the noise, and ask your local insider any questions you have – perhaps over an espresso and a crunchy biscotti at Vivoli or Robiglio.
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

This is a walking tour. Your host will meet you at your selected hotel, and the tour will begin on foot. If you’d prefer to meet at a central location instead, please choose the meeting point option.
If your hotel isn’t on the list, simply select the central landmark option. This is a private walking experience.
