Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Access to the Terraces requires climbing 150 steps (no lift) through narrow passages. The height of the Terraces is 30 meters (98 feet).. Sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.. Children under the age of 7 are not allowed on the Duomo Terraces for safety reasons. Youth ages 7-18 must be accompanied by an adult to climb the Terraces.. The Baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.. Backpacks of any size, as well as luggage or large bags, are not allowed.. Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.. It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.. Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.. This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart conditions, dizziness, or claustrophobia, as well as individuals with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.
