Before reaching the Colosseum, enjoy a panoramic view of the Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome and home to ancient imperial palaces. From here, you’ll overlook both the Forum and the Circus Maximus, once the grand arena for chariot races.
Finally, step inside the Colosseum, the iconic amphitheatre that hosted gladiatorial battles, dramatic re-enactments, and even mock sea battles. Your expert guide will bring its fascinating and often brutal history to life with vivid stories and insights.

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Not wheelchair accessible due to the terrain conditions of the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.. Please note that for safety reasons the Coliseum can accommodate up to 3.000 people at once.This could lead to delays in access to the site, even for pre-booked visitors. For security reasons all visitors and their luggage shall be screened. To facilitate the security checks please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.. Please note that you can not get to the Colosseum with large bags / backpacks / suitcases. It is possible to bring only small bags.. Please note: Colosseum ticket price 18,00. The difference is for other services.. Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.. A moderate amount of walking is involved: we advise you to wear comfortable shoes.. Original ID required: All participants must present a valid original ID.
