Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk being refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements. Please note that the Papal Audience (held on Wednesdays) may result in the closure of the Basilica. There is no way of knowing where the Pope will choose to hold his audience, but should the Basilica be closed, we will spend more time in the Vatican Museums.. We kindly inform clients that due to the upcoming Jubilee, we can not guarantee access to St. Peter's Basilica from December 24th, 2024 to January 6th, 2026.
