What To Expect
Uncover the truth that lies across the walls of the museum, located on the right bank of the river, Tiber, near the Vatican City.
Admire the stones, marbles and artefacts that narrate the transformation that have happened over the centuries. It was a monumental tomb, a fortress in the medieval ages and it became a defensive post for barbarian invasions.
A must see to all visitors, walk through the 5 floors of the museum heading towards a spiral ramp, admire the cells, including relics, rooms served as a Papal residence and chamber of ashes where you can marvel the remains of Roman successors and frescoes preserved perfectly.
End this wonderful trip on the roof of the Castle’s astonishing terrace of Angel and have a picturesque view of the whole city, a great place to take pictures and admire the sunset. From a spectacular view on top, be prepared to spot the Vatican City , the Tiber river and the famous, Bridge of Angels.
