If you’d like to access the Arena floor of the Colosseum, make sure to select the Arena option when booking. This upgrade gives you special access to the Arena floor — a unique viewpoint where gladiators once stood and battles unfolded before thousands of spectators.
A friendly host will welcome you at the meeting point to ensure a smooth check-in and help you get started. This flexible, self-paced experience is perfect for curious travelers who want freedom, insight, and a deeper connection to Rome’s remarkable past.

Wheelchair accessible. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Kindly ensure that THE FULL NAMES YOU SUBMIT MATCH EXACTLY with the names on each participant’s official ID or passport, including for children. The Colosseum strictly enforces this policy and will refuse entry for any discrepancies. Each guest must bring a valid ID. Please avoid using nicknames, shortened names, or incorrect/missing first or last names. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help with this.. Minors must be 17 or younger on the day of the visit. Each participant must bring valid ID that matches the name on the reservation. Entry cannot be guaranteed without proper identification. The audioguide is a digital app for your smartphone. A download link will be sent to you before your visit. Late arrivals and no shows will not be refunded. We recommend downloading the audio guide in advance, using Wi-Fi. It works offline afterward. Kindly note that it may not work on very old phones or devices not compatible with the app
