What To Expect

We value the friendly conversations with our Japanese guides and among guests, which is why we keep our groups small and offer complimentary sake — though drinking is completely optional.

Explore Kyoto’s most famous sights and experience the city at night with a local guide.

This walking tour takes you from the lively downtown area to the quiet, traditional streets of Gion — Kyoto’s most iconic district known for its shrines, temples, and geisha culture.

What to Expect:

  • Visit historic temples and shrines while learning how Shinto and Buddhism coexist in daily life
  • Walk through Gion’s geiko and maiko district, hear stories of Kyoto’s geisha culture, and you might even spot a maiko
  • Enjoy local sake as you stroll through lantern-lit streets
  • Small-group tour (up to 10 people) — relaxed and easy to connect with others

It's an Experience Kyoto at night with a cup of local sake — a style of tour you won’t find anywhere else.
