To begin the show, the Maiko will perform a traditional dance lasting around 10 minutes, the usual length of most Maiko performances. After 2 dances (each about 5 minutes), there will be time for a Q&A, photo-taking, and a chance to play a traditional Japanese game with her.
IMPORTANT: In Geisha/Maiko culture, performances are intentionally short to preserve the art’s exclusivity and grace. Please note that the Maiko will not be performing continuously for one hour.
