The Sky Lanthen Festival, also known as the Yi Peng Festival is a mesmerizing event in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The festival celebrates light, hope, and wishes. During Yi Peng, thousands of paper lanterns known as "khom loi" are released into the night sky, creating a mesmerizing display of lights.
The 2025 Chiang Mai Chiangmai Authentic Sky Lanthen draws visitors worldwide to experience this enchanting event, making it a truly magical and unforgettable experience.
All food in the festival and some can do it yourself. More than 50 types of workshop activities. Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Thailand with traditional performances.

Important info

Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Suitable for all physical fitness levels

2 Sky Lanterns (VIP). Fee all types of workshop and handicrafts activities DIY. 1 Krathong. Fee transfer round trip (Meeting point Central festival Chiangmai). All foods in the festival and some of foods can do it yourself DIY (Vip, Premium) that set up throughout the festival grounds. Please note that alcohol is strictly prohibited at the venue.

You will be picked up at at the fountain at Food Center gate at the Central Airport Plaza Chiangmai and transferred to the venue by bus. You should be there 10 minutes before departure.
