Your guide, an LA native, will introduce you to tried-and-true community staples and fusion cuisine that will surprise and delight. Get a feel for the real LA in a neighborhood with a rich film history that includes silent movie stars, Walt Disney, and the birth of the modern motion picture, beautiful residential architecture that is a microcosm of greater Los Angeles' domestic design, and delicious tacos galore.
This 3-hour tour is great for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. Please note that drinks are not included, nor is tour guide gratuity (15-20% is recommended).
Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The 3-hour tour is 3.2 miles in length. This distance is broken up with historic, cultural, and food stops along the way. To get to the Hollyhock House, we will walk up 130 steps. There are some inclines in the residential areas of the neighborhood. We walk down one public staircase of about 30 steps. Beyond this, the tour is mostly flat.
